Family-friendly hotel in Italy

Falkensteiner Hotel Lido Ehrenburgerhof

The following post is from a reader of Munich Kids.

My family have just returned from an extremely pleasant weekend in a wonderful child friendly hotel in Italy and I would simply like to share this info with you. The hotel is extremely child friendly and the service is also excellent. they are set up with a kids club up from age 3 and also have a large playground for kids in a wonderful setting around a little lake. they have great wellness facilities and a nice indoor/outdoor pool too.

The price is very reasonable and it pays to take half board as the food in the hotel in excellent. the buffet breakfast is abundant, they also serve a light lunch of pasta and salad and buffet dinner, except for the plated 6 course gala dinner on friday night. food is simply abundant.

If you want to get away for a relaxing long weekend this hotel is tucked away in the beautiful Dolomite mountains in Sud Tirol on the border with Italy.

A day trip to nearby Brixen (Brunico) is also highly recommended as it’s a very pretty Aldstadt.
