Dr. Christian Muehe and Dr. Karl Kugler have a very nice practice in Schwabing. It is in a new office so everything is bright and cheery. They have a pleasant waiting room for the kids with toys to play with. Both doctors speak excellent English and are very good with kids. Several of the receptionists speak very good English as well, making it much easier to make an appointment.

Dr. Stephan Boese-O-Reilly speaks very good English. He is very patient and willing to take the time to answer your questions. They have two waiting rooms, one for children who are ill, and one for children who are there for check-ups. I’m not sure how well people follow that guideline, but it is nice to think that you could bring your child in for a check-up without exposing him to a lot of cold and flue germs.

Just a quick reminder, even if you believe the doctor speaks perfect english, always, always get them to write down their diagnosis in german for you. This way you can check it with your dictionary and or german speaking friends. I have known a doctor to correctly in german diagnose “Windpocken” which is chicken pox but to say in english Measles. Two very diffent ailments. A little caution can go a long way.

We tried to get our son into Dr. Christian Muehe and Dr. Karl Kugler but were advised they are too busy to see new patients.
